I was born in Barcelona, in 1974. When I was 12 years old I joined a theatre workshop in my neighbourhood and I enjoyed so much that at 18 years old I decided to study production and direction in radio, cinema and TV (EMAV, 1993). After writing and starring the short movie in 8mm for the end of course work, I realized that I had been enjoying more in front than behind the camera so, I finally decided to get the graduation in Drama (Institut del Teatre, 1997). Later, my interest in the therapeutic side of theatre, and specifically of puppets, pushes me to carry out with various workshops of art-therapy (EAM, 2009). Since 1993 I use all my experience working as an actress, as well as a puppeteer, storyteller, entertainer... and I keep learning in several companies and productions.
All along my career, I've got the chance to work with professionals from around the world with several disciplines, such as: Ricard Salvat (Spain-Germany, clasic theatre), Marta Carrasco (Spain, contemporary dance), Rosa Muñoz (Spain, comic dance), James de Paul (USA, contemporary theatre), Lakdar Boustila (Argelia, social theatre), Chou Ling (China, opera of Peking), Jordi Bertran (Spain, marionnette), Manel Trias (Spain, puppet for TV), Sonia González (Venezuela, puppets and acting), Marja Nykanem (Finland, puppets on the street), Yann Dacosta (France, contemporary theatre) or Jean-Christophe Blondel (France, contemporary theatre).
Within the audio-visual sector I've been working as a puppeteer, broadcaster and script writer for several televisions such as TVE (Spain), TV autonómica de Aragón (Spain), RAI (Italy) and La 4 (Spain).
Since I'm in France I've participated in the International Festival of Charleville Mezières 2015 with Théâtre Illussia as a puppeteer and as an actress I've got a small rol in the film for TV "Le mec de la tombe d'à coté" in 2016. Currently, I work as a puppeteer and broadcaster in MIC3 (TV3),
Catalonia, Spain. As a creator and puppeteer, I work alone in two different
solos ("Frou Frou" and "Lola and Bop") and as an actress I work since 2017 until now in two theatrical plays in France "Sur Le Pont" directed by Yann Dacosta (Cie Le Chat Foin, Rouen) and "J'avais un pays autrefois" by Jean-Christophe Blondel (La Divine Comédie, Paris).
After all my experience as puppeteer, I would remark, my preference for
rod puppets on table and manipulation of objects. As well as my double
specialty as puppeteer and actress that it gives me the chance to "appear" and
"disappear" in the action, depending on the staging.I also love to work guiding
and observing in my workshops all that involves the art of manipulation,
sensitization of our hands, "to give life" to the object or puppet, as well as
the work of visibility-invisibility of the puppeteer behind the puppet.
